We spent the summer at Ticehurst and Flimwell CE Primary School, due to the Village Hall floor being repaired. We held our very first “Fun Day” with BBUFA and Sure Start. And I think I speak for everyone when I say that the morning just flew by and the children enjoyed themselves and that the parents learned a bit more about the services of Sure Start and BBUFA, I know I did.
We also had our first Music Time as a group and Lisa’s father Dave came to entertain the parents and the children and did a sing along. I’m still not sure who enjoyed it more the parents or the children but I great time was had. So a big thank you to Dave and you are welcome back anytime.

You will also note that there is a Notice Board that was painted by the children. As big thank you to Hannah for this. There has been a number for requests for us to do more Art Session, so we will be doing Art Sessions twice a month the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
We took part for the first time in the Wadhurst Scarecrow Weekend.
Scruffy was made by the children and all making him had a great time.
I would like to thank Hannah, Lucy, Wendy and all the mothers who helped make him. Although we didn’t win anything a great time was had.
